Your granite countertops have been sealed with a penetrating sealer during fabrication to help protect against staining. For best results, we recommend applying a new coat of sealer once a year to maintain protection.

Use a granite-specific cleaner that includes a sealant and anti-bacterial agent. Avoid products containing ammonia, bleach, or acidic ingredients, as these can damage the stone.

  • Do not use excessive soap—this can leave a film or streaks.

  • Use a clean cloth or paper towel.

  • Wipe up spills immediately, especially oils, which can penetrate the stone if left too long.

Eternal Stoneworks offers a 1-year warranty on installation-related issues. This includes:

  • Separation of seams

  • Any issues directly caused by faulty installation

The warranty does not cover:

  • Scratches due to misuse

  • Chipping or cracking from excessive heat

  • Color variations in the stone (granite is a natural product)

  • Natural pits and fissures that are inherent to granite

Seam placement is determined by Eternal Stoneworks based on slab size and your kitchen layout. While seams are inevitable, we always aim to use the minimum number of seams possible. Please note that seams will be visible, as is standard with granite installations.

Granite is a natural stone known for its durability and resistance to heat and scratches. It has a speckled appearance and comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns. It's a great choice for high-traffic areas like kitchens.

Marble is also a natural stone but is softer and more porous than granite. It has a smooth, veined appearance that gives a classic, elegant look, making it popular for bathroom vanities or areas with lighter use. It requires more maintenance due to its susceptibility to stains and scratches.

Quartz is an engineered stone made from natural quartz crystals combined with resin. It’s non-porous, very durable, and doesn’t require sealing, making it low-maintenance and stain-resistant. It comes in a wide range of consistent colors and patterns.

Quartzite is a natural stone that looks similar to marble but has the hardness of granite. It’s more durable than marble and can handle high-use areas. While it offers the elegance of marble, it requires sealing like granite to protect against staining.
